For this project we firstly had to work in groups to build a greater understanding of a brands ethos. We collaborated with sports wear and FDD to build team working skills, and had to present our brands research to the rest of the year.  My group were given Solange, a luxury jewellery designer. Once we had are basis of the brand we all went our separate ways to design ranges that suited are specific course, all using the same colour palettes that we collectively decided fit the brand. I decided to do swimwear as I felt I could link this really well with Solange. This project really helped me to understand how important a brands ethos is when working with any company. This was the first garment we had to make from our own designs so I was really happy with the outcome. 16.06.17
