I have always loved creating and designing from a young age. For as long as I can remember I would design swimwear and plan how I could one day bring my ideas to life. 

 

Starting LCF gave me the opportunity to learn the techniques and skills I needed. I began the course with the sole ambition to focus on swimwear, however, I very quickly realised I loved the architecture and power that comes with creating lingerie as well, and have enjoyed every minute of it since.

 

I am in my  final year at university and am coming towards the end of my degree. Taking a year out for DIPS placement really boosted my skills both in designing, making and working in a fast past environment. I believe that as a creative student, you should never stop learning, looking to improve and taking inspiration from the world around you.

 

I excel in design, colour and concepts . My sewing and technical skills have vastly improved over the last year. My placement year helped me further understand construction and therefore made my designs more realistic as well as given me the ability to sew to a high standard. Seeing my skills grow to match my ambitions has motivated me to push myself even more.
