AGENT PROVOCATEUR - YEAR TWO - TERM TWO
The Agent Provocateur project was my favourite so far, as we got to really push ourselves creatively and technically. We were asked to create 5 concepts and produce a final toile for swimwear, and lingerie. As I was looking to really push my sewing skills this term I decided to make both my swimwear and my lingerie sets as final garments. I really enjoyed this project and I was very happy to be chosen to be in the top ten to present to Agent Provocateur. Below I are my concepts that inspired my final pieces. The print on my swimwear is not symmetrical which I really love.The shape was exactly how I wanted it, however the ring in the centre was one size too big. The cups fit many sizes which was nice as usually a bikini that suits larger cups, does not suit small cups but this style worked really well on both.
- Design Work - Concept 2 - Aynhoe
- Final Garment -
I wanted to show the process of making the Aynhoe bra. The cups are half cups as I wanted the leaves to be as sheer as possible over the breasts. The knickers are adjustable as is the back of the bra, this allows sizing to be more flexible and creates a unique look. I wanted to make them playful so I made the gusset overt, which I felt worked well for Agent Provocateur.
